In the morning of August 23, 2005, ESAB Welding Products (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd was started the construction work in 
Zhangjiagang Economic Development District, which is the largest investment corporation in China of the world's 
largest welding equipment company ESAB. ESAB Welding Products (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd total capital is abour 30,000,000 
USD, it will be producing new-type alloy material and advanced welding equipment and its parts. 

ESAB is an enterprise with over a hundred history and the world's largest manufacturer and supplier of welding 
materials, welding equipment and advanced cutting equipment, it has 35 marketing and customer support institutes 
around the world and establishes factories in 40 districts of 19 countries. 

The one that locates in Zhangjiagang City in Jiangsu Province would be completed on February 28, 2006, total area 
of 15,745m2, a single-storey steel structural factory and a two-storey reinforced concrete office building. 

It is also a design and build construction project. 

On that day, among the people participated were Deputy Secretary of municipal party committee and mayor Wang 
Xiang;  the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee member, Deputy Mayor, Secretary of Party and 
Labor Committee of Zhangjiagang Economic Development Zone, Director of Management Committee Pang Weizhong; 
ESAB CEO Jon; Britain Business Consular Bob; Shanghai Chairman of British Chamber of Commerce Ian, and Fountain 
Chairman Mr. Tao Zipeng, and earthed up for the commencement of the Project.
